Candidate for President-Elect Patti Pawlik-Perales is a communications specialist with Alamo Heights ISD. She has been a TSPRA member for 20 years and a NSPRA member for 10 years. Patti’s involvement began as a co-chair of the first Television Track for the TSPRA Annual Conference and continued through the years as she chaired and co-chaired more than 10 TSPRA and NSPRA committees. Additionally, she has presented at many TSPRA conferences and workshops. Patti’s work has been recognized with multiple TSPRA and NSPRA awards, including two Crystal Commendation Awards in 2010. She currently serves as the San Antonio vice president. |

Lorette is currently the director of communications for Corpus Christi ISD. She has been and TSPRA member for six years and served TSPRA as the Chairperson of the 2010-2011 Celebrating Texas Public Schools Committee. Lorette and her Corpus Christi team of colleagues designed the 2011 TSPRA Conference program. Her work for TSPRA during this time period garnered her the 2011 TSPRA Most Valuable Member Award. Lorette also won Crystal Commendation Awards in 2009 and 2010. |

Melissa is the director of communications for Texas City ISD. She has been a TSPRA member for 13 years and currently serves as the Houston/Beaumont Area vice president. She also served as the 2008 TSPRA Conference Registration Desk Co-Chair and the Chair of the 2010 TASA/TASB Booth Committee. Melissa won a Crystal Commendation Award in 2006. |

Helen is currently the communications director of Highland Park ISD in the Dallas area. She has been a member of TSPRA for 11 years and has coordinated TSPRA’s Boot Camp for New Members over the last three years and is once again in that position for 2012. Additionally, Helen has served as TSPRA’s VP of Marketing and as a member of the Texas Public Schools Week Committee. She has presented at several TSPRA Conferences and has won numerous national and state PR awards. |

Gustavo is the public information officer for Canutillo ISD. He has been a TSPRA member for one year. Gustavo is a seasoned journalist and had worked as the education reporter for the El Paso Times for more than a decade. As a new TSPRA member he presented at the TASA Midwinter Conference and has hosted an area TSPRA meeting. Gustavo was instrumental in passing the TRE in his district after two previous failed elections. |

Lisa is a public and media relations specialist at Kerrville ISD. She has been a TSPRA member for seven years. Named TSPRA’s Most Valuable Member in 2008, Lisa chaired the Annual TSPRA Conference Door Prize Committees in 2007 and chaired the 2008 Celebrate Texas Public Schools Week Committee; presented at TSPRA Conferences in 2005 and 2009; and hosted SASPRA workshops in 2009 and 2010. Lisa has received numerous awards, including two Crystal Commendation Awards. |

JoyLynn is the executive director of community relations for Round Rock ISD. She has been a TSPRA member for seven years. Over the years JoyLynn has chaired the TSPRA Awards and Banquet Committee, served on the TSPRA host committee for the NSPRA 2011 Conference and has presented at many TSPRA conferences. Additionally, she has won numerous TSPRA and NSPRA awards. JoyLynn is currently serving as scholarship committee chair. |

Sheri is currently the executive director of the Deer Park ISD Education Foundation. She has been a member of TSPRA for five years and has served on the TSPRA Conference Planning Committee and has presented at two TSPRA conferences. Additionally, Sheri is a member of the National School Foundation Association and has served two terms as the president of the Greater Houston Area Association of Education Foundations. |
Appointed by President-Elect Craig Eichhorn to serve as parliamentarian is Tamerah Ringo. Tamerah currently serves Coppell ISD as the director of communications/public relations. She joined TSPRA in 1998 and has been an active member on various committees including co-chair of the marketing committee and the new member boot camp. Tamerah is a member of NSPRA, ASCD and TASA, as well as the CISD Education Foundation and the Coppell Chamber of Commerce. She is a perennial presenter at the TSPRA Annual Conference and has earned numerous Star Awards. |
