Conferences & Workshops
TSPRA offers training at conferences and workshops throughout the year, as well as at area meetings.
Our annual conference held in February of each year covers all facets of education and foundation communications and public relations. Sessions are designed for rookies and veterans and cover topics of interest to communicators in print and electronic media.
Workshops include:
• Media & Crisis Communications and Dealing with Public Anger through the Ammerman Experience;
• Customer Service Training through Turning Point Solutions;
• Legal Issues In School Public Relations or Education Foundations with various law firms;
• Bond Elections strategies;
• Tax Rate Elections;
• other staff development topics.
Regional Meetings are held throughout the school year with various speakers presenting on topics of interest to our members. Contact your regional TSPRA Area Vice President for more information.
