No district is immune to crisis-whether it be a natural disaster, a random act of violence or a scandal that threatens the district’s integrity. The manner in which the crisis is handled can haunt or support your district for three to five years after the incident itself. Effective training can help prepare your district leaders to deal with the around-the-clock coverage that has become a common occurrence with school-related violence and other crises.
The Texas School Public Relations Association partners with Ammerman, a nationally recognized firm, to provide media/crisis training to school administrators at an affordable fee. Since December 1999, hundreds of administrators from across the state have benefited from this training. The Ammerman trainers consistently receive outstanding evaluations with many saying: This is the best in-service I’ve ever attended!
With real-life scenarios and on-camera interviews, this training will prepare you to face the media with confidence and manage the communications aspects of a crisis or other difficult
situation or issue.
Fee: $200 per participant (Lunch is included.)
