Every year, Professional TSPRA members are invited to nominate one of their peers for the TSPRA Professional Awards, including:

• - Professional Achievement: a full-time, public education employee and Professional TSPRA member of at least 10 years who has exhibited a creative, dedicated and professional approach to school communications.
• - Most Valuable Member: a TSPRAn who has contributed significantly to the association's improvement.
• - Rookie of the Year: a full-time, public education employee for less than 36 month and Professional TSPRA member who has exhibited a creative, dedicated and professional approach to school communications.
• - Bright Idea Award: a TSPRA member(s) for outstanding ideas, strategies, projects or programs designed to promote public education in Texas through effective communication.

TSPRAns are also invited to nominate a member of the media for the Media Award:

• - Media Award: a print or broadcast media professional outside of the TSPRA membership, typically someone who covers your school district, foundation or organization, and who has contributed significantly to the public understanding of Texas public education.

Professional TSPRA members can access the instruction and nomination form by logging into the TSPRA website and going to the blue MEMBERSHIP tab > MEMEBER AREA > RESOURCES FOR MEMBERS.
