Texas school bond and TRE results from May 12, 2012 election
Overview:
-82% of the bond propositions we tracked passed (obtained by dividing the number of passing propositions by the total number of propositions up for a vote)
There was one TRE up for voter approval and it was ratified
- The average margin of passage was 34 points; the average margin of failure was 29 points - We tracked 1 TRE and 55 bond propositions (44 districts), with an average of $19.4 million per district election
The districts marked with an asterisk(*) indicate a TSPRA member district. All monetary amounts are listed in millions.

- 72% of TRE's we tracked passed
- The average margin of passage was 19 points; the average margin of failure was 11 points - We tracked 17 TRE’s and 35 bond propositions (52 districts), with an average of $51 million per district election
