AUSTIN (August 4, 2010) -- The Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) has named Tyler ISD Foundation Executive Director Larry Goddard as the association’s 2010 Key Communicator. This prestigious award recognizes Goddard’s significant contributions to the public understanding of the public schools in Texas through effective communications.

Remember to mark your calendars: Texas Public Schools Week, which traditionally falls on the first week in March, will be Feb. 28-March 4, 2011. The theme for our 2011 Celebrate Texas Public Schools kit is Education: It's BIGGER Here. While you can order the theme and logo now for use with convocation, the full kit will be available for purchase in November.

AUSTIN (May 4, 2010) – The Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA), the largest state organization dedicated to promoting public schools through effective communications, has named Linsae A. Snider as its next executive director. Snider, a TSPRA member who currently serves as the association’s Northwest Texas Region vice-president, succeeds Judy Farmer who will retire in June after leading the nonprofit association for six years.

We've created a companion to the TSPRA Facebook fan page, designed specifically for TSPRA EMP members. It's an opportunity for media professionals to easily post their videos, receive feedback and collaborate with others in their field throughout the year.
