GOOD TO KNOW

Power of Proofreading

Theirs no denying that principles and teachers has little free time, but typos, misspellings and grammar mistakes (like the three in this sentence) can be embarrassing and distract from your message.

  • Get a second set of eyes on all copy.
  • Read it out loud to catch mistakes your brain skips over.
  • Use spell check, but don't rely on it.
  • Watch for common mistakes.
