Voting as begun on TSPRA's proposed bylaws and standing rules amendment. Professional members in good standing will have until May 10, 2019, to cast their votes. The changes to the organization's Bylaws and Standing Rules will eliminate the associate membership level mentioned in Bylaws Article IV.2, Articles IV.6 and Standing Rules Article I.2.
This amendment will also include renumbering Bylaws Article IV and Standing Rules I and the removal of the word “primary” in the description of the professional membership level in Bylaws Article IV so that professional membership will be more inclusive.
TSPRA Bylaws may be amended by a two-thirds vote of professional members voting by electronic ballot provided at least 30 days notice has been given. Initial notice was sent out to TSPRA members on March 26. For more information and background on the change, click here.
Since only professional members in good standing can vote, you'll need to log in to the TSPRA Member Area in order to access the voting. Once you log in, you should see a badge on your dashboard asking you to vote. Otherwise, click "Forms" in the top menu bar to see it.
